Media Requests & Policies

Interviews
In-person and telephone interviews with players and coaches can be scheduled through Kimball Kjar at (801) 979-3166. Interview requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance unless it is breaking news. A coach and several players will also be made available for quick interviews after each game.

Media Services
If you would like to be on the mailing list for press releases, please contact Kimball Kjar at: kimballkjar@gmail.com with your name, media affiliation (if applicable) and contact email address. Releases will also be available at www.byurugby.com.

Requests for press, broadcast and photo credentials for home events should be directed to:

Reporters representing papers with daily or next-day editions, national magazines, wire services, live television and radio broadcasts and television and radio stations covering for nightly news shall be given priority. Spouses, dates, non-workers and children are not allowed in the working media areas.

Photography
Credentials will be issued only to accredited photographers and TV reporters/camera operators on assignment from their media outlet. Photographers can obtain rosters and information regarding where they can shoot during the event from the media relations staff on site.

Parking
Parking is free to media. No parking pass is required unless the event begins before 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please contact the Athletic Media Relations office to obtain a parking pass for an afternoon event. Parking is available in the lots to the north and northwest of the Smith Fieldhouse.
